About the Group
Waste Data Flow (WDF) as a tool impacts across the various waste divisions of Defra. It facilitates local authority performance monitoring and management, provide a benchmarking tool and delivers the statutory information required for the purposes of LATS and the Landfill Directive.
The User Group consists of representatives from local authorities, the Environment Agency, Defra and Government Office's. It provides an opportunity to discuss the issues, concerns and benefits of WDF municipal waste management tool. The User Group comments feed into any refinements of the system.
